My first Semester!

So I survived my first semester of school. I made it through and came out with a 3.05 GPA! I'm so happy. I haven't gone to school for 8 years, it was hard to get my brain to start working again. I wasn't sure if I could do it. I was scared and had zero confidence. But after a lot of hard work, but I did it! I'm more confident now and feel better about myself. I'm going again this next semester, with a full load. Only this semester Beau will be going also. We will not be seeing much of each other and balancing HW and classes. Luckily he doesn't have to work while he goes to school because we get the GI Bill. he will be going nonstop until he graduates. I'm going for an AA in General studies with a minor in Child Development, so I can transfer where ever we move after he graduates. Then I want to major in special education because that is something i can see myself doing! I'm really excited to finish, hopefully everything will continue to go well!

Christmas 2009

For Christmas this year we stayed home, and beaus parents came up and brought his little brother ty. I loved having them here. They brought along thier new puppy Bella so there was never a dull moment, and my kids didn't get bored. Beau was in charge of photos which is why there isn't very many. oh well. my favorite gift was the bench at the bottom of the page! Beau's dad made them for me! Over all we had a great christmas.

Update

This will be just a random post to avoid doing homework!

Ummm we'll start with beau, he is off this semester from school, and working as an Internet installer. he works 10-14 hour days so we don't see him much but he always makes overtime which is nice when the paycheck comes. I'm taking 12 credits this semester, which is keeping me even more busy than I normally would be with 3 kids. Luckily for me, I have a great friend that helps watch my kids while I'm in class and doesn't mind doing dishes when she comes over and is bored, and I let her, I don't make her, I just let her. This takes great effort on my part because I can't stand letting people help me, so It's good for me.I'm learning to relax and take it as it comes.I squeeze homework in where i can and got a laptop so i can sit kids on the couch put on a movie and then I can do my homework with out them destroying the house! Daniel is doing well at school, he talked the aid in his class to write in answers on his math sheet, only to come home and have it erased and had to do it again, I sent a note the next day, he now does his own work.lol Emma is starting a pre k workbook here at home, and does amazing of course Nate wants homework too so we just photo copy pages. my goal is to have her reading by the time she goes to school, I talked with the principal about this and he said go for it! She is also doing great in Ballet and I think is the best in the class, her teacher said she does wonderful! I'm so proud of her. She now dances every time music is on. Nathan regressed a little when we moved and was having accidents everyday more than once a day, I was at my end when I decided to start over with the potty training we did a sticker chart, and lots of praise, and he's been dry for a week and a half including nights! hurray! his motivator attention! Daniels was movies, Emma was easy, Nate's like attention. now that I've figured that out life should be easier! He also is just trying to keep up with everything Emma does. we are enjoying having a back yard all to ourselves, and a washer and dryer in our house. I love all the space I have again! I can survive school now that we have room to spread out. Shannon and Emily can tell you how small my apt was and how claustrophobic it had become. We are enjoying Rexburg much more than last year, but it is still warm out ask me in march if I still like it! We are throwing a Halloween party this year I've always wanted to but never have, so this year we are inviting our friends and dressing up it should be fun! I can't wait!Anyway that's all ,off to do homework!

Emma's a Ballerina!

Today was Emma's first day of Ballet. I thought she was going to be really shy and not want to talk but she did wonderful! Not shy at all and did everything she was asked to do. I might be a little bias but I think she was the most graceful and did and awesome job! I'm so proud of her!

Going Back To School!

ok most of you think this post is about Daniel, or maybe Beau, but no it's about me! I've decided to go to school. I was going to go to beauty school, but I don't have $9,000. So I've decided to suck it up and go to BYUI and major in Child Development. I'm really nervous but I know Beau will help me and 2 of my classes are online and 1 is on tues,thurs and 1 is just tues. both are in the evening so tues I'll be gone all night but I'll be able to stay home with the kids and that's what I wanted. Anyway that's my news.I'm going to bed now. Good Night.

My First Week Without Beau!

OK so schools out and beau has left to go sell again this summer, he left sat. so my first week went like this,
Sunday- while I was in the shower for 5 min. Daniel sat on an egg and Nate and Emma broke open 3 more onto the kitchen floor, then Nate being the helper he is or just trying to hide the evidence attempted to clean it up with a towel. spreading egg from one end of the kitchen to the other.

Mon.- I left the fish bowl on the counter from cleaning it the night before, and I got out of the shower to hear Nathan saying "Emma give it to me he needs to go back in the bowl!" I then ran down the hall in a towel to see Nate running with his hands cupped together and plopped the fish back in the bowl.The fish lived! When asked why she did this Emma said " well you left him out."

Tues.- Emma somehow managed to get stuck in the top of the closet( see pic) no idea how she got up there but she couldn't get down.

Wed.- Nathan came running down the hall yelling Emma cut her hair! All I could think was not again she just got her pony tail back! lucky for me it was just some bangs and not short so now she has bangs which look really cute!

Thurs.- I pawned them off to neighbors so I could take a shower with out worrying about what might happen.

Friday-Emma told me she wanted to get a little girls brain,we were in the hall at Daniel school and she said "mommy, I need to get her brain so I can be smarter!" And tomorrow we're having a party for Daniel so hopefully the day goes well!

WORMS!

Yesterday we went worm hunting! We started out picking up the ones one the side walk and then I showed them where to find worms in the wet rotting leaf piles along the edges of the parking lot and by the time we were done they had handfuls, there were also several neighbor kids but I didn't take their pics. Don't the pictures make your stomach squirm!
(no worms were harmed in the making of this post, we put them back into the grass so they could survive)

These are paper dolls that I cut out on my friends cricut die cut machine, it was way fun and now I want one!

really,this is just a random post about what i do when I'm bored. The dress I made for Emma with some fabric i had in the closet, shannon you inspired me and since i didn't have money for new fabric i had to use what i had, and it was a lot harder than i anticipated. I've never made a dress with a pattern before, and it might be a while before I do it again!

We went to Beaus parents house for Easter because it was also Jess's (his brother) farewell he's going on a mission to Mexico. We had a lot of fun that week end and a giant Easter egg hunt for the kids in the park across the street.

Nathans party, while Nathan and I went to walmart to spend a gift card Emma decorated she figured out ways to hang balloons with out tape that's what the balloon pics are. than there's Nate's cake and the presents are in a pile sorry there aren't more pics my batteries died in my camera. He had a lot of fun and I'm glad it's over. but I'm sad he's growing up so fast.
